No Test or College App Is Bigger Than You

Finding The Right College For You

College is hard, but it can also be the most profound period of your life. Making sure you pick the right school is just as important as making sure the right school picks you.

Because he got a 36 on his ACT, Michael was offered a full-ride scholarship and stipend to study at NYU, one of the most expensive schools in America, and the only one that allowed him to spend 4 years studying abroad.

The Method:

The SAT and ACT Are Easier Than You Think.

Whether you missed out on learning logarithms, are stressed about when and where to use commas, or just feel a lot of pressure about the fact that a few weeks of prep can determine the rest of your life, your anxiety is perfectly normal.

Let a seasoned professional pull back the curtain for you and show you how the SAT and ACT are stitched together at the seams. Then, learn to master your anxiety with confidence and mindfulness, while we make sure you're academically ready for any trick the exam writers can possibly throw at you.

With our guidance, you'll take them on at their own game, and come out a CHAMP!

(I also tutor most APs ranging from Physics to History (World, US, and Europe) and Music Theory; contact me to learn more)

Cody was scoring 1220-1240 in practice, and thought he was doing something wrong; because of the CHAMP Method, he started trusting himself again, and on his very next exam, he scored a 1540.

2. CHAMP For College Applications

When all's said and done, a test score is just a number. You're more than that. At least, you feel like you're more than that, but you don't know how to explain it. You're afraid of sounding self-important, but you also don't want to sell yourself short; you don't have interesting stories or facts, but that won't matter if they see the real you.

In our personal statement coaching sessions, you'll learn to strike that perfect balance between confidence and humility; you'll be wearing a shroud of eloquence and discipline as you showcase your true self. Suddenly, the stories you share with the world can surprise and impress everyone around you--including you!

Vanderbilt University chose Max not just for his impressive SAT scores, but for the easy and comfortable way he shared his love for tennis: "Out there on the court," he wrote, "no one needs me to be someone I'm not."

3. Academic Coaching

Whether you need to master a subject for the SAT Subject Tests, want someone to hold you accountable while you study for APs, or simply want to raise your grades, we'll work together towards your success.

Find Out If CHAMP Is Right For You:

Michael's Story

As a student in high school, Michael suffered from a lack of motivation. He was smart, but lazy. He was a good listener, but didn't take action. He scored high on all his tests, but never had his homework ready on time. Often, he felt outperformed by students who were always ready. They seemed more driven, and he didn't understand why he wasn't like that.

When he took the SAT for the first time, he was late, hadn't slept or eaten well, and scored 1380. He didn't think he needed to do any better than that, but his father convinced him to try the ACT anyway, where he scored a perfect 36.

It was shocking news, to say the least: Many of his classmates had worked much harder, prepared for much longer and still couldn't break 33 points.

Everyone else thought it must've been a lucky one-off, but Michael had a hunch. To test it, he signed up for the SAT a second time. Three weeks later, his scores returned: 1560. When superscored with his first attempt, his new score was a whopping 1580--one wrong answer away from perfect.

For the first time in his life, Michael thought he had a competitive shot at getting accepted to the top schools in America. After that, all it took was the right personal statement for Michael to land a full-ride scholarship and stipend, graduating debt-free from one of the most expensive schools in America, becoming fluent in five languages, and travelling the world!
